FireSprite, who recently bought by PlayStation, have made their own acquisition

Studios PlayStation has grown considerably last year, with a few acquisitions that have not only reinforced the huge lineup of developers who make up this team. The most recent case is Firesprite A study based in Liverpool which is already larger than all other teams PlayStation in the UK. Well then, this study it is to grow even more thanks to the acquisition of Fabrik Games .

And yes, Firesprite not Sony, has purchased a Fabrik Games, a small team of Manchester , which will be incorporated into Firesprite for A total of 265 employees.

Before, Fabrik Games Firesprite and had already had a close relationship; Fabrik was founded by Graeme Ankers , who he served as managing director in Firesprite . Similarly, both studies collaborated with the creation of The Persistence.

It certainly seems that Sony is positioning Firesprite as one of the largest studies within PS Studios . Of course, we have to wait to see how games will get this team but it will definitely be interesting to know the future of the study.
