BBL main round will be extended until 10 May

In the period from May 4 to 10 May, there are a total of nine catch-up games, with two not finally terminated. The 34th and thus "official" last matchday of the main round, the teams unchanged on 1 May.

The BBL also announced on Friday that another coronary neuterination of catch-up games or other games is not possible. In this case, the final table would be calculated according to the quotient method.

The play-offs start on 13 May and stay in the proven "best-of-five" mode and in rhythm 2-2-1 (home home away from the point of view of the club with home advantage). If possible, a rest day between home games should be followed by a rest day and the change of home up to three days of rest.

Should Bayern reach the Final Four of the Euroleague (19 to 21 May), the BBL play-offs rest during this time. A possible fifth final game should take place no later than 25 June 2022.
