Street Fighter 6 officially announced

The iconic street fighters Ryu, Ken and Co return with Street Fighter 6. But until there are concrete details, it still takes.

About a week ago Capcom started a countdown website without publishing any details. Now it is clear what has hidden behind it. The Japanese manufacturer has revealed the Fighting Game Street Fighter 6 at the end of the Street Fighter Pro Tour 2021 Season Finals. Matching there is a first teaser trailer, which shows two of the characters of the title closer.

On the one hand, with Ryu can be seen one of the most famous figures in series and, on the other hand, a look at Luke, the final character from the fifth part, can be thrown. However, there is no playing artwork. Likewise, information is barely available. In the summer of 2022 Capcom wants to ventilate the cloak of the silence. Then we will find out for which platforms the game will appear. The fifth offshoot of the popular series has come to the market only for the PC and PlayStation 4 only in 2016.

Although there are no further details about Street Fighter 6 itself, there is first information about the developers involved. The Japanese designer Yusuke Hashimoto, who has previously worked for 13 years at Platinum Games as Bayonetta 2 or Star Fox Zero, will be one of the designers of the game.
