The Embracer Group acquired eight companies in the game industry

Train Group is a parent company many video game industry companies and develops and publishes games on PC, consoles and mobile platforms. Framing Group is formerly known as Thq Nordic, better known, and various successful franchises to its assets, including Saints Row, Dead Island, Darksiders, Borderlands and more. In a recent publication, the company has confirmed the acquisition of eight companies with various specializations, including mobile games, independent development, virtual reality, retro shooting games and more.

Acquisitions should represent between 2,000 and 3,000 million Swedish kroner, or about 200,000 USD. The total purchase price of transactions amounted to 2.7 billion Swedish kroner and company management teams have regular growth plans for the coming years.

Lars Wingefors, CEO of the group embraces, said, "I am delighted to welcome more than 500 great talents in a wide range of well-established companies that diversify and strengthen the group around the world from the first day. With regard to the strategic justification of acquisitions, the statement indicates that Embrace Group will develop and detect talent throughout the sector and with additions such as Deep Rock Galactic and Super Stylist, the portfolio has improved.
