Battlefield 2042: Leak to Fat Season Updates - But Is That Realistic?

According to a leak, each Season in Battlefield 2042 will provide a wealth of new free content after the launch for the players. The crowd sounds very ambitious and the question arises as to whether EA may be too much.

With Battlefield 2042 follows EA the recipe for success of Call of Duty : new content such as weapons, maps, vehicles and characters get all players without restriction free of charge in a Season model . Each Season also gets a paid Battle Pass with cosmetic objects that can then be released. Officially there is no information about the Seasons, except the EA in the first year a total of four plans.

Leaker wants to know content of Battlefield Seasons

Even if Tom Henderson has often met with his leaks into the black, yet you should look at his tweet to the Seasons in Battlefield 2042 with a certain skepticism. According to Henderson, EA plans to be abundant content for each Season:

• 1 New Specialist
• 2 new maps
• 2 new portal maps
• 1 Update for Hazard Zone, which a Story should continue
• 6 to 8 new weapons for each mode
• 2 to 3 new vehicles for each mode
• 100 Season Steps (Battle Pass)

With the exception of the Battle Pass all this content should be free. Whether Battlefield will also have some free season stages like warzone, Henderson does not reveal.

My personal assessment

When I saw the list, my first thought was: _ "That's a lot of stuff." _ Alone four new maps are already damned a lot of work. Although there are two new editions for portal, but we finally talk about Maps who need to work for 128 players, so in my opinion need a lot of work if they are to be fine. The second time I sung to "six to eight new weapons". It's hard to say what is meant by "for each mode". Should it mean that all three multiplayer experiences in total or each get so many weapons? How elaborately the continuation of Hazard Zone is, I can not assess because there is no information yet.

In order to stop everything, it is definitely necessary a lot of staff and EA is known to put the projects of other studios on ice, so that they can also work on Battlefield. But should the leak actually vote, the is only realistic when EA has already finished a large part . For me, there is no question that so many contents are produced in a three-month rhythm and after that, above all, can be cared for.

Among the circumstances mentioned, I hold the Leak in the theory implementable by EA, but under the bottom line for unrealistic .
